Although transplantation medicine has been continuously improving, its impact on the general population needs to be evaluated. This study describes the global community interest in solid organ transplantation (SOT) using Google Trends, comparing relative search volumes (RSVs) and data from the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Observatory on Donation and Transplantation (GODT) regarding SOT activity all around the world.

Abstract
